Know Thyself Exercises.
This part is some exercises you can make up your own ofcourse, but this is just for an easy getting into it, wich can also help you out in your first travel of self development. If you already know yourself pretty well, you can also think about your own exercises, so that you can keep on studying this. (to give you an idea of doing dailies in a video game).
Exercises 1
Physical exercise:
Well to start off, start questioning everything about yourself. If you have a hard time doing that, no worries! I am here to help out! On this part will also work it further out for you. Also i know that you are not a noob or anything, you are equal to me as a person, simple as that. But this is just to help you think and develop yourself more.
Lets do this step by step:
- First: think about your daily decisions, why are you doing them? Why are you not trying out something else? This is something very basic and easy, but it helps thinking a bit further or reaching out a bit more.
- Second: go about how you feel at a daily base, this also lets you think on more then this level about yourself, many life lessons can be learned here.
- Third: Think about how you respond in certain situations and think of possibly improvements of how you respond to them.
- Fourth: Some will dislike me for what i am saying here, but go out and get crazy or schwifty! Just do what you want to do for once, but try to remember or repeat or write down, to how you respond in those situations as well. At the same time you learn about your limits here!
Mental exercise:
After doing the physical ones, you are starting to get an better idea about yourself and knowing yourself, you may have improved yourself a bit already, it is recommended that you take your time with every exercise, so 1 exercise can easily take a couple of weeks, specially (knowing myself) it can be forgotten at times, repeating is important, but hey we are all human!
The mental exercise is more based of exploring your emotions and learn how they feel for you and try to tune them a bit more or less of the situation and what the reaction is of your environment (watch out ofc with things like anger etc, but that is stating the obvious).
- First: try to understand what kind of emotion you are actually feeling.
- Second: feel, but do not react to the emotion.
- Third: try to make that emotion more heavy to feel or numb it down.
- Fourth: when in situations try to find out, how you respond yourself with these new versions of heavier and number emotions.
- Fifth: Try to get feedback from your environment if they noticed anything (this is the best way, because we do not want any placebo's going on here!).
Also why are the mental steps and the third of the physical step so much intertwined?
There is a good and simple reason for it, by now you have learned how to solve a lot of mental issues, starting to make a better person of yourself and starting to do this (possibly on a daily basis), wich means it is growing on you, the best part is like you can see it works together pretty well, so that you have a list of fine exercises for you to work with. I can recommend 10 minutes a day max, i can understand if you want to start out with something very small and grow more and more and i am actually very happy if you would do so!
Again Patience and Perseverance (and for the theme DETERMINATION!!!).
The third base of exercises is more of an spiritual origin, doing the first 2 also made you able to start to connect with yourself in a deeper level. So up to the next point MEDITATION!!!
There are tons of books and papers and the internet is also about it, so i expect you have done your research and experienced a bit of it. For the people having a hard time of meditation, there is a little secret to share, these practices already gave you a practice of starting meditation, wich means you are capable of doing it. Sorry for misleading you, i will do it more often and this is only for the greater good.

Spiritual exercise:
Well to start off, better read up here first. This is a visualisation type of mediation. This is going way deeper than the first 2 exercises and is completely from a different caliber.
Ok to start off, visualise that you are in front of a mirror and you are looking at yourself, how do you act, what do you do? Study yourself, then after a while let the mirror split (into negative and a positive mirror) and think off your positive and negative traits. Try to find as many traits as possible. When checking your negative traits, think about how to change them into positive and try to keep this up with all of them, you will notice that eventually you will train yourself to become a way more positive, but also realistic person.
This will take a lot of dedication and work and give yourself a couple of months for this!
Well this is chapter 1, lets move on chapter 2 wich we will talk about one of my favorite things, the connection with the Universe in your own way!
Between us, i know that we are living in a time where misguiding, lies, deception are common traits. Its also why its so important to know yourself, so that the negative influences or the fake influences cannot have such a hold on you.
